| 2008 - 20 copies were given to the Penguin Foundation in Australia. |
2008 - Temasek Language School with the Penguin Foundation in Kobe, Japan. |
2009 – Lewin brought ‘The Story of Socks’ to 3 primary schools in Nanjing. The exchange programme was broadcast by China Central Television. |
| 2010 – Students from Hwa Chong Institute conducted reading programmes to children from less fortunate families. ‘The Story of Socks’ was used as the main teaching material in their Community Involvement Programme. |
